About
My name is Craig and I'm a photographer and a photojournalist who grew up in Blenheim Ontario, Canada. I'm a self taught photographer with a passion for telling stories through a camera lens.
I have a deep respect for Chatham-Kent as a community, and an even deeper respect for the emergency service personnel who keep the citizens and communities safe. I was published in firephotomagazine.com before firephoto mag shut its doors, and have a personal collection of photographs that are unparalleled. I used to be a photojournalist at CKReview.ca, and covered everything from events to emergency scenes, and even wrote the occasional editorial and column.
I can be found at fire scenes, and other emergency situations capturing what Police, Fire, and EMS really do, living by my own words; “there are a lot of stories out there that need to be told."
While I specialize in fire photography, I also major in landscapes and portraits. Due to working in extreme lighting conditions as a photojournalist at fire scenes, I have exceptional control over camera settings that allow me to use light and shadows to my advantage in any situation.
